Job Title: PCB Rework Specialist (Contract)

Pay Rate: $20–$30/hr (Based on experience)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Overview:
We’re hiring a PCB Rework Specialist for a leading R&D engineering team located in Manchester, NH. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who requires minimal supervision and thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You’ll support multiple ongoing projects with hands-on PCB repair, electronic assembly, and cable builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electronic assembly and rework in a dynamic R&D setting
Rework and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs), including fine-pitch soldering, component replacement, and trace repairs
Use soldering stations, microscopes, multimeters, and other specialized tools
Conduct inspections for defects including solder issues, damaged components, and continuity failures
Assemble cable assemblies and perform board-level modifications
Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform regular equipment setup and maintenance
Qualifications:
Excellent PCB soldering and rework skills
Certified solder technician with IPC Certification
High school diploma required
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Familiarity with basic electronic components and schematics
Ability to identify PCB parts from marked-up schematics
Experience using Microsoft Office
Exposure to CAD tools (Altium, PADS, SolidWorks) is a plus
