Supply Chain Manager

Our client has an immediate need for an experienced Supply Chain Manager. Do you have 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing setting? Does the following describe you and your experience? If so, apply today!

• Highly organized, disciplined, and detail orientated.
• Excellent work ethic, working with exceptional accuracy and thoroughness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and promptly at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize, analyze and pivot as business demands you to do so. 
• Exceptional listening skills, understanding the needs of those around you, both internally and externally.
• Leadership experience is a must.
• Exceptional computer skills. Excel proficiency is a must. Lotus Notes experience, preferred.
• APICS or ISM certification, strongly preferred.
• Six Sigma green belt or black certification preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing long term production planning analysis for asset utilization and human resource planning.
• Responsible for creating the daily and weekly detailed production plans.
• Sourcing, plans, purchases, and schedules the movement of raw material, packaging material, spare parts, services, and supplies utilizing the Syteline ERP system, as appropriate.
• Reviewing proposals, negotiating prices, terms, and conditions.
• Quoting, reviewing, negotiating, and purchasing Capital Equipment as required.
• Coordinating customer forecast requirements with respect to material requirements thereby managing supplier delivery schedules.
• Documenting vendor selections with justification vs. alternative choices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain/Procurement Management
