Job Title: Administrative Assistant Production
DETAILS:
• Duration: Permanent Direct Hire with benefits
• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• Salary: $25 - $28/hr depending on experience
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in Coney Island Rail yard in Brooklyn, NY.
Job Description:
• Assist and support the Production Manager with overall production administration.
• Type and maintain work procedures using various software packages.
• Distribute, file, and maintain engineering documents.
• Input data into the BPCS database system.
• Run and distribute reports from BPCS.
• Create and maintain PC-generated documents using spreadsheets and word processing software.
• Perform photocopying, filing, faxing, and general office assistance as needed.
Job Specification:
• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of work experience in an administrative capacity.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including at least one spreadsheet and one word processing program.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a production environment with direct exposure to shop floor working conditions.
Work Environment:
The work environment involves supporting production activities in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The role may require exposure to shop maintenance facility conditions and interaction with production personnel. This role will be working, In facility or trailer, In the elements, and need to have safety boots. They will be working around trains and technicians.
