Job Title: Administrative Assistant Warranty
DETAILS:
• Duration: Permanent Direct Hire with benefits
• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• Salary: $25 - $28/hr depending on experience
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant, Warranty in Coney Island Rail Yard in Brooklyn, NY.
Job Description:
• Assist the Warranty Manager in coordinating and overseeing the field offices.
• Support the Assistant Manager of Modifications in coordinating all Field Modification activities.
• Handle all office administrative needs, ensuring that the office is properly equipped to support the Warranty Manager.
• Organize and maintain the file system for the Warranty office.
• Record data from various reports into SAP, ensuring that the information entered is accurate and correct.
• Assist in the coordination of site activities for minor contracts as needed.
• Maintain spreadsheets tracking various items such as invoices, materials purchased, petty cash, etc.
• Handle all consumable part orders received from the sites.
• Distribute files and fax any correspondence according to instructions.
• Address all SAP Field-related issues directly with the Site Clerks.
• Occasionally responsible for processing failed parts from the field office back to Yonkers or the vendors.
• Work well under pressure and communicate professionally with the field sites and various departments within KRC.
• Present a professional, competent, and organized impression.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and without direct supervision when required.
Job Specification:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting specific deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
The work environment involves supporting warranty and field operations in a fast-paced setting. The role may require occasional interaction with field personnel and vendors to ensure timely processing of warranty-related issues.
