Advancement Services & Communications Manager

Our client, Holy Cross Family Ministries, is looking for an Advancement Services & Communications Manager.

  POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 The Advancement Services & Communications Manager reports to and works closely with the Executive Director of Mission Advancement while collaborating with other staff to assist in the day-to-day operations to help achieve the goals of the Mission Advancement Department. The Mission Advancement Department is responsible for the fundraising activities that support all the programs of Holy Cross Family Ministries. The Advancement Services and Communications Manager’s primary responsibility is the strategic execution and management of the donor communication programming in coordination with the overall HCFM Office of Communications including newsletters, event invitations, appeals, annual impact reports, email campaigns and social media to drive annual giving and stewarding of donors. 

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Prepare, coordinate, and manage scheduled mailings, email appeals and e-newsletters, and increasing mission awareness and growing constituency through social media.
• Participate in the design and production of brochures, webpages and other materials as needed for organizational support in conjunction with the Mission Advancement team and vendors.
• Print and prepare materials for stewardship mailings. 
• Support Mission Advancement with special projects and perform other duties as needed.  

QUALIFICATIONS:   

• B.A. Marketing, Communications or similar, preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of and belief in the Catholic/Christian faith traditions
• Strong written and oral communication skills 
• Computer literacy MS Office 365, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint; Zoom. 
• Experience with Canva, preferred.
• Understanding and ability to maintain confidential donor information.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to prioritize and meet deadlines.
