  • Ability to remain focused in a variety of settings and situations.
  • Auto-Cad experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of Comparator, Micrometer, Caliper and Gage Blocks.
  • Tool and Die Maker background, preferred.

The following are the requirements of the position.

Understanding Customer Drawing:

  • Having a thorough knowledge of Blueprint Reading and Geometric Tolerancing.
  • Determine if the Product or Part can be produced on a Transfer Press.


  • Calculate Blank Size and Width of Material required to produce the Part.
  • Determine how many Operations are required to produce the Part.
  • Determine the most efficient size of Transfer Press with enough Tonnage to make the Part.
  • Determine the Time period to Engineer, Build, and develop the Tooling to make the Part.


  • Design a Complete set of Tools for any size or style Transfer Press.
  • Design any type of Fixtures mounted on or around the Transfer Press.
  • Design Gages and Fixtures to check the Quality of the Part.

Computer Experience:

  • Design by using the Auto-Cad Software with a strong knowledge and experience in 2-D and 3-D images.
  • Find and file Drawings using Vault Manufacturing Software.
  • Learn the latest Releases of Auto-Cad and Auto Desk Inventor, which takes place on an average of every 6 months.

Education: Associate degree with 3-5 years of experience. Will consider working experience of 7-10 years in lieu of degree.
