Job Title: Manufacturing / Service Technician
Location: Manchester, CT
Type: 6-Month Temp to Hire
Pay: $22–$25/hr (based on experience)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing / Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and tracking of devices used in testing and engineering environments. This is a hands-on role working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure critical systems operate reliably throughout product development cycles.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engineering and test devices
Use hand tools, impact wrenches, winches/lifts, and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters)
Handle hardware requiring occasional heavy lifting or mechanical manipulation
Follow both draft and finalized procedures to complete work safely and correctly
Maintain accurate traceability by tracking equipment and components
Document service events including part replacements, repairs, and software updates
Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio for documentation and workflow management
Qualifications:
Technical certification or hands-on experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or service work
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a variety of tools and systems
Experience working from schematics, technical documents, and procedural guides
Familiar with documentation and traceability standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio)
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem-solver
