Full Time
On site for first 60-90 days then transitions to hybrid- Queens, NY 
$117K plus Exceptional Benefits
Full Stack Ruby on Rails Development 
 
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer who will be responsible for building and maintaining our web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You ll work closely with product managers and designers to bring exciting new features and improvements to life.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code to meet our product specifications and user needs.
  • Feature Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Optimize Application Performance: Identify bottlenecks, resolve performance issues, and improve the efficiency of the application.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
  • Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve bugs and other issues across the application.
  • Database Management: Ensure effective data handling and security protocols in collaboration with our database administrators.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the Ruby on Rails ecosystem and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and ORM frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Git version control.
