Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
Location: Beverly, MA
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time, On-Site
Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Associate to join a growing team in Beverly, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn in a precision manufacturing environment. You'll provide daily support across shop operations including material prep, machine operation, assembly, and basic equipment maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to a fast-paced production floor and working on diverse tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
General Shop & Production Support
• Assist in daily shop operations and technical tasks
• Prepare and cut raw materials for production
• Assemble shop orders to spec
• Perform material handling and movement throughout the facility
Machine Operation & Maintenance
• Operate equipment including Shot-Peen, Abrasive Flow Machining, and Laser Marking machines
• Perform deburring tasks to meet quality standards
• Help maintain a clean and safe production environment
• Support basic maintenance and routine cleaning of shop equipment
Project Work & Flex Support
• Assist with various short-term shop projects as needed
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability efforts
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or vocational school background preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
• Comfortable using basic computer systems
• Ability to frequently stand, move, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This role is performed in a manufacturing setting. It requires manual dexterity, good visual acuity (corrected), the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, reach, squat, and operate machinery. Candidates must be comfortable in a hands-on production environment using shop floor tools and equipment daily.
