Summary
The Quality Technician will support inspection activities with a focus on operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) systems. This role requires hands-on quality inspection skills to ensure components meet specifications and customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate CMM equipment to perform part inspections (training on in-house systems provided)
Measure part tolerances using appropriate inspection tools
Read and interpret technical prints for inspection criteria
Follow calibration procedures and apply standard inspection methods
Document inspection results accurately and report non-conformances as needed
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain quality standards
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Hands-on experience operating CMM systems (programming not required)
Proficiency in measuring part tolerances
Ability to read and interpret technical prints
Understanding of calibration procedures and general inspection methods
Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing preferred
