Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

• Exceptional computer skills. Word and Excel proficiency a must.
• Strong understanding of payables process and procedures.
• Advanced working knowledge of Great Plains.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing employee expense reports for proper coding, appropriate proof of expense, and in line with travel and expense policy.
• Reviewing/posting manual wire/ACH disbursement batches.
• Monthly reconciling of corporate credit card statements.
• Preparing 1099’s filings.
• Reconciling, monitoring, and journalizing charge backs.
• Assisting with internal and external audit requests.
• Identifying issues and/or areas for improvement in the work environment, production processes, projects, and systems. Participating in testing upgrades and implementation of software.

Education:

• BA/BS, Accounting or Finance. Equivalent working experience will be considered.
