Are you ready to be the go-to hero ensuring SharePoint environments run smoothly, even in the dead of night? Join us as an On-Call SharePoint Engineer and be at the forefront of maintaining reliability and performance in our critical systems!

 

As an On-Call SharePoint Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting SharePoint environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to respond to incidents promptly and effectively.

 

On call on Weekends for Sharepoint Project

50-75/hr

Sharepoint engineer, permissions, integration of Sharepoint, architectural changes

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor SharePoint environments for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and potential failures.
  2. Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  3. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patching, and system backups.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement SharePoint solutions that meet business requirements.
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on SharePoint functionality and best practices.
  6. Create and maintain documentation related to SharePoint configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  7. Participate in on-call rotation schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical incidents.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Engineer, with a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and functionality.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server, including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 services.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and database administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate are a plus.
