Shipping Associate

Our client, Fisher Engineering, is seeking a Shipping Associate!

In this position, the following will be part of your daily responsibilities and how you will contribute:

• Print pick tickets according to department standard of work.
• Maintain databases for shipping matrix (i.e., LTL load tracker / Cost savings tracker).
• Daily scheduling of LTL carriers with load size and weights.
• Daily shipment processing and order confirmation as well as data entry (scan documents, and pictures).
• Assist in data entry of interdivision shipments.
• Keep work area, tools, material, and equipment clean and orderly.
• Willing to adjust work and / or shift schedule when needed to meet customer demand.
• Be an active participant as part of a team to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Work in a safe manner; able to recognize unsafe work situations and report safety issues to the lead or supervisor.
• Communicate clearly and in a timely manner to other team members.
• Communicate with Customer Service daily to solve order or pick ticket problems.
• Ability to learn and perform duties of shipping personnel out on the floor in a shipping capacity as needed by business unit requirements.

Education / Experience:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Computer skills and data entry experience.
• Fork truck training & license preferred, not necessary.

Schedule is 9:30am – 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
