Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution

• Salary: $110K–$125K
• Hours: Monday to Friday (Standard Business Hours)
Position Summary and Special Duties:
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution
Company is experiencing strong growth in the alternative energy sector, and this role sits at the center of that expansion. This is a hands-on, design-build engineering position where you will see projects move quickly from concept to execution while supporting advanced power and energy solutions.
Job Description:
• Design and engineer UL 891 switchboards and low-voltage power distribution systems
• Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Ensure designs comply with UL, NEC, and applicable industry standards
• Support manufacturing, testing, and UL inspection processes
• Provide technical support for custom-engineered projects and customer requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, drafting, project management, and quality teams
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to design and production
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong experience in power distribution systems and equipment design
• Required: Working knowledge of UL 891 switchboards
• Solid understanding of NEC and UL standards
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software
• Experience working in a manufacturing or design-build environment preferred
