POSITION OVERVIEW
Merrimack Manufacturing LLC is seeking Engineering Technicians to provide direct technical support to Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This role is hands-on within a cleanroom environment and is vital to ensuring process yield, quality, and throughput improvements across production operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as accountable technical team member for process yield performance within assigned production area.
Provide direct, hands-on technical support for manufacturing issues in a cleanroom environment.
Support productivity and throughput improvement projects to meet target run rates.
Conduct hands-on failure analysis and investigate process nonconformities.
Deliver clear and thorough written documentation/report-outs on technical investigations.
Partner with engineering teams to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
Design, develop, and fabricate basic tools, fixtures, and devices for manufacturing.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on engineering projects.
Support change management processes including validation, work instructions, studies, and technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
1+ years’ experience in a technical, hands-on problem-solving role (medical device industry preferred).
Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hardware troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience with Lean or structured problem-solving tools.
Skills in basic data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple daily priorities in a dynamic environment.
EDUCATION
Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or other related technical field required.
