Job Title: Airflow Operator 3RD Shift
Location: Fully Onsite in Greenville, SC 11-7:30 AM
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $20 per hour Plus Excellent Benefits
Job Summary
The Airflow Operator is responsible for performing airflow testing on manufactured turbine engine components to ensure all parts meet required specifications and quality standards. This role supports production by accurately testing, documenting, and maintaining quality throughout the airflow process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform airflow testing on turbine engine parts by following operation sheets and established procedures.
- Verify and record part serial numbers accurately.
- Load parts onto airflow fixtures, operate testing equipment, and review airflow readings.
- Confirm tested parts meet required specifications; promptly notify supervisor of any non-conforming parts.
- Produce work that meets company quality and productivity standards.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner related to airflow processes.
- Follow proper machining and operating practices at all times.
- Maintain work area, equipment, and tooling in a clean, organized, and orderly condition, including completion of operator maintenance sheets.
- Proactively identify and help resolve process or system issues, collaborating with team members and other departments as needed.
- Comply with all OSHA, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope and skill level of the position to support department objectives and skill development.
Qualifications
- Must be a United States Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Desire to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn Manufacturing ERP systems, including Job Boss.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform medium work, including exerting:
- Up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- Up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- May be required to:
- Move, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Frequent walking, standing, and repetitive motion required.
