Job Title: Production Manager
Work Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
Position Type: Full-time

Role and Responsibilities

The Production Manager will lead our production operations and ensure that they deliver maximum quality in a profitable manner. Duties will include organizing workflows and analyzing the efficiency of manufacturing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish daily, weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
  • Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
  • Guide and coach employees, maximizing their productivity and engagement.
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
  • Perform verification of production output according to specifications
  • Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
  • Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Manage performance and disciplinary issues.
  • Ensure daily / weekly and monthly goals are achieved.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • HS Diploma required. Associates degree or higher a plus.
  • Technical or manufacturing training strongly recommended.
  • Experience production planning is essential.
  • Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within manufacturing required.

Behavioral Skills

  • Excellent communication and teambuilding skills
  • Work independently while following instructions and guidelines.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, sometimes extremely demanding environment with inflexible deadlines.

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to apply Production Planning and Scheduling skills.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including strong MS Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERP and MRP systems required. NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Experience operating machinery and tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to move about freely throughout the facility.
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Ability to work both in an office and production environment.
