Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Hourly Rate: $24.00 – $27.00/hour (depending on experience)

2nd Shift: 7:00/8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations by maintaining the condition, functionality, and safety of manufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring a self-sufficient technician capable of performing preventive and reactive maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The position works closely with production, engineering, and facilities teams to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment using established procedures and controlled databases
Troubleshoot, service, install, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs to minimize downtime
Inspect work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety regulations
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas at all times
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives as part of a cross-functional team
Communicate effectively with multiple departments regarding maintenance activities and equipment status
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience installing or maintaining manufacturing equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and diagnose equipment issues
Experience working in regulated or controlled manufacturing environments
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement programs
