Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 annually

Position Overview
This role reports to the Materials Manager and is critical to ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time. The Materials Supervisor leads and develops a materials team across two shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is not a distribution or run-rate pull-order operation. Success in this role requires manufacturing materials experience, process discipline, and hands-on leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Materials leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing
Hands-on experience with:
Materials management
Visual management
Kanban systems
Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable across multiple shifts
Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven plant environment
In This Role, You Will
Serve as subject matter expert for all material handling activities at the Faribault site
Lead, coach, and develop materials personnel across two shifts, maintaining high standards for accuracy and organization
Monitor and report daily operational performance using qualitative and quantitative metrics
Conduct daily team meetings
Develop direct reports through training, progressive responsibility, performance reviews, and corrective action as needed
Maintain personnel records using ADP
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet internal and external customer needs
Define, improve, and uphold materials process standards
Execute all material transactions using Epicor (ERP)
Support and lead safety initiatives including JSAs, inspections, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Interpret production schedules and execute SOPs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Operate powered industrial vehicles as required
Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
ERP system experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives in English
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
Ability to perform basic math related to SOPs, tally sheets, and production documentation
Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, lifting, bending, reaching)
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements (eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection)
