Position: Product Support Specialist
• Duration: Direct Hire
• Location: Yonkers, NY
• Salary: $61,000 – $75,000 depending on experience
• Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

We are currently seeking a Product Support Specialist in Yonkers, NY.
Position Summary and Special Duties:
The Product Support Specialist is responsible for communicating with new and existing customers to assist with inquiries related to aftermarket parts and support requests. This role supports aftermarket sales activities while ensuring customer needs are met with competitive pricing, accurate quotes, and on-time deliveries.
This position works closely with internal teams and customers to support aftermarket product sales, track activity, and help drive revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
• Respond to and follow up on all sales inquiries through web requests, phone communication, and customer interactions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers through periodic visits and communication.
• Monitor and report on sales activities and support efforts.
• Research market requirements and gather customer feedback to support current and future product offerings.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases tracking sales activity, on-time deliveries, and related metrics.
• Prepare quotes, sales orders, outbound deliveries, and invoices.
• Attend training sessions to expand knowledge of products, systems, and processes.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments supporting sales and operations.
• Read and interpret technical assembly drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in Sales, Engineering, or Business.
• Strong ability to work independently and proactively without constant supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other office software.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidential and proprietary information.
• Experience or knowledge in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and BOM structures.
Work Environment
This role operates within a manufacturing and engineering support environment, interacting with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to support aftermarket product needs and ensure accurate order processing.
