Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $105,000 – $123,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote After 90 Days)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager I to join a nationally recognized architecture and design firm in Boston. This role supports Principals and project teams on multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery aligned with client expectations, design intent, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and enjoys coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced architectural environment. Following the initial 90-day onboarding period, employees are eligible for a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days remote. 
Responsibilities
  • Assist Principals with managing multiple architectural projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate communication with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Draft correspondence, proposals, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Maintain project files, directories, and document-sharing platforms.
  • Update project schedules using Microsoft Project and monitor project progress.
  • Track project financials and assist with reporting using project management software.
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars for project leadership.
  • Support project organization, budgeting, and administrative functions.
  • Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 6–10 years of professional experience supporting multiple projects or initiatives.
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or a professional services environment preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders. 
Preferred Experience
  • Architecture, construction, engineering, or design industry experience.
  • Project coordination or project management support.
  • Experience preparing proposals, schedules, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Strong customer service and client communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or project management software is a plus.
