Job Title: Quality Incoming Inspector
Location: Manchester, NH
Hourly Rate: $24.00 – $26.00 (depending on experience)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for conducting inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. The role involves detailed documentation of inspection results, active participation in developing and revising inspection procedures, and collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform inspection of purchased components, materials, and manufactured products according to specifications.
Document all inspection results accurately within the database.
Participate in the development and/or revision of inspection methods and procedures.
Communicate with manufacturing, supply chain, and other departments as needed to resolve issues.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an inspection environment.
Experience with CMM and Vision system inspection/programming is a plus.
Ability to set up inspections for intricate components with tight tolerances.
Proficient in GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Computer skills and knowledge of inspection-related software.
Familiarity with standard sampling plans.
Knowledge of proper handling of Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) sensitive components.
Experience with printed circuit board assembly and solder quality inspection.
Skilled in the use of measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other instruments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail in inspections and documentation.
