Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented RF&I Assemblers to support production of fiber optic and RF components in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for individuals with small-part assembly experience who are comfortable working with wiring, cables, and precision components. Candidates will have the opportunity to grow into Operator Levels 1, 2, and 3 based on performance.
Operators play a key role in producing high-quality products that support both government and commercial programs.
Key Responsibilities
Follow detailed assembly instructions for RF&I and fiber optic products
Perform small-part assembly including wiring, cable building, and component installation
Use hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, and measuring tools
Maintain production quotas (time and/or piece count)
Inspect work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
Report production issues, delays, or quality concerns to supervisors
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work in a cleanroom-style environment with proper gowning
Use basic problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of small-part assembly experience (electrical, wiring, or electronics preferred)
Experience using hand tools (cutters, strippers, crimpers, rulers, etc.)
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Basic measurement skills (standard and metric)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience
Fiber optics or RF assembly
Electronics or cable assembly
Cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environments
Experience working with small, delicate components
Work Environment
Clean, organized manufacturing environment focused on fiber optic and RF products
Cleanroom setting requiring gowning (lab coat style)
Work supports both government and private-sector programs
Fast-paced production environment with strong quality standards
