Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $24.00 (depending on experience)

Schedule: flexible
  • 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
POSITION OVERVIEW
Merrimack Manufacturing is seeking versatile Stockroom Clerks / Material Handlers to join the Materials team. These roles require excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. Successful candidates will be responsible for stocking, organizing, and distributing materials while supporting production and maintaining compliance in a regulated environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive and verify incoming shipping materials against invoices.
  • Kit and verify production materials to shop orders.
  • Organize, label, count, inspect, and maintain stockroom inventory.
  • Identify and communicate any discrepancies in materials or documentation.
  • Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Load, unload, sort, and move product shipments using material handling equipment or by hand.
  • Adhere to company policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Compare shipment contents with manifests, invoices, and packing slips to confirm accuracy.
  • Maintain proper stock levels using KanBan, Min-Max, and other stocking programs.
  • Deliver or route materials to departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain safe and orderly shipping, receiving, and stockroom areas.
  • Assist with annual and ad-hoc physical inventory and cycle counts.
  • Coordinate communication with Supply Chain, Operations, and Inventory/Warehousing teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • 2–5 years’ stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot inventory management software/ERP systems.
  • Ability to use various technologies for inventory control and material handling.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Medical device or cleanroom environment experience preferred.
  • Must be safety- and quality-focused.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected challenges in a dynamic environment.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.
