Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 9/80 Schedule (every other Friday off)
Overview
We are hiring a 1st Shift Cleanroom Team Lead for our Durables area in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role blends hands-on work with team oversight. You will support production activities, help maintain Clean Room integrity, reinforce safety and quality standards, and serve as a communication link between workers and management. This position requires strong manufacturing experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide team members while maintaining high production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring workers during production activities to ensure proper ethics, safety, and process adherence.
Help evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety, functionality, and compliance.
Support quality assurance by ensuring products meet all industry and internal standards.
Aid in leading workers to improve production output while maintaining high-quality standards.
Inspect finished products to verify compliance before release.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of line performance and production outcomes.
Act as a liaison between workers and management to ensure smooth communication.
Help maintain and support the production schedule for on-time execution.
Ensure availability of work materials throughout the shift.
Maintain a clean, organized work area; participate in safety programs, meetings, and required training.
Report safety concerns promptly to management.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as part of a cross-functional team.
Support Clean Room integrity through proper gowning and adherence to cleanroom procedures.
Follow all general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, and ISO, QSR, and FDA regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with assembly, testing, and documentation of mechanical and electrical devices.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse team members.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and support team members.
Ability to take on various tasks and pivot when needed in a dynamic environment.
Preferred: Medical device manufacturing experience.
Preferred: Basic knowledge of medical device regulatory procedures, lean manufacturing principles, and standard manufacturing processes.
Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Willingness to attend leadership training and additional sessions as required.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
